Facebook vs. YouTube videos
I just saw this video today. It's an new upload from a local user. The video is great. Good music, beautiful shorts and some very nice settings. From my point of view, it's a nightmare because if you really look at it, the video has nothing but a lot of famous people at the PeopleSeiMei launch in Copenhagen. Tagging a video like this is very hard because you only got the location, the event and the people in the video. No content. Nothing wrong with that but videos like that can be uploaded to Facebook with much greater success, because you are able to directly tag the people in the video.

Its all together two different websites, Facebook is a social networking site and you tube is a video sharing site. However the only link between facebook and you tube is, we can share the same video as seen on youtube in facebook as well.

True. It's two completely different sites and the video setup is different too. On Facebook you can't really tag your videos for search-words.
ReplyDeleteA video like this is, in my opinion far better uploaded to Facebook, because you can tag all the individual people in it. There's some big names in the video but they would drown in a YouTube/Google search. Unless this video was made for a specific website, I don't think it will ever get over a thousands views.
